Three days of scrambling skills including the use of a rope on scrambling terrain.
This will mostly be on Grade 2 and 3 scrambles.
We’ll begin with talking about your experience and what you want to get out of the three days and coming up with a plan according to the weather.

You need to have enough base fitness to enjoy three consecutive days in the mountains.
You should know how put on a harness, tying in and belaying for this course. If you don’t have experience of these we’d recommend coming on our two day guided scrambling course where you’ll be taught these foundation skills.

You will be required to have your own boots and suitable clothing for the mountains according to the kit list supplied. You’ll also need to bring your own lunch and drink.
All ropes, climbing hardware and emergency group kit is supplied. Climbing harnesses and helmets can be supplied if required.

The three days are run at a maximum of 1 instructor to 2 climbers.

We will meet at the A5/A55 services at 9am on the first day of the course.

In case of bad weather we will find relevant skills and activities at low level.
If a participant cancels between 4 and 2 weeks before the course 50% can be refunded. If less than 2 weeks no refund is given.
We recommend taking insurance to cover unforeseen events like illness.
