What is the Scotland Rock Climbing Tour?
Make the most of a week’s rock climbing in Scotland by planning not to plan, staying flexible and travelling to where conditions are best.
DEPOSIT | FULL AMOUNT 1:1 £1,150, 1:2 £1,500 (£750 each)
A climbing tour of the best seacliffs, crags and mountain routes in Scotland.
Possible locations include Isle of Skye, Cairngorms, Old Man of Stoer, Applecross, Dunkeld, outcrops and seacliffs. You may have a specific route you wish to build an itinerary around or may be happy to discover new areas to explore.
We pack up the van with a load of climbing kit and a bookshelf full of guidebooks, consult the weather apps and head to the best places to climb that week.
The idea to offer this style of guiding came about because the best climbing trips I’ve done in the UK have involved a high degree of flexibility to make the most out of a weeks climbing.
If you can’t find the course dates you’d like below feel free to get in contact to arrange alternative dates which suit you.
Why go on a Sea Cliff Climbing Course?
Sea cliffs offer exciting and fun climbing but a few more skills are required to access them safely.
Understanding tides and sea states, finding routes from cliff tops and abseiling to the start of routes are all important for enjoying sea cliff climbing. If things don’t go to plan it is also beneficial to be able to solve simple problems and perform rescues to help you escape to the top of cliff.
This is the basis for the sea cliff course content based in Pembrokeshire.
